ODD SOCKS
How many of us have been visited by the sock monster? There are so many orphaned socks that have been thrown in a bag with the promise that you will find their match at some point, when you have the time but they still remain in that bag and the probability of them being reunited is NIL.
TOP TIP: To keep socks together wash inside a pillow case or small net bag.

Old Ramekins and Tupperware
Many of my clients seem to accumulate these pesky items, thinking they may come in handy. Some may get the chance to reinvent themselves as a paint pot or a candle holder but how many do you actually need? Those ones lurking at the back of the cupboard can go.

Clothes that don't fit
Clients will often hold on to a pair of jeans, dress or an item of clothing in the hope that they will one day squeeze back into it. Truthfully though, how likely are we to slim down and if we do, will we want the same old clothes? My advice is to donate these items of clothing to charity and free yourself of the pressure you are placing on yourself.
TOP TIP: Did you know we only wear 20% of our clothes 80% of the time? Every time you wash and hang your clothes place the hanger the opposite way so you can see what your 20% is. Then look at and declutter your 80%

Old Towels
Spring is around the corner and this is a great time to refresh, so pull out any old towels that never get used.
TOP TIP:Check locally for a vets or animal shelter that may have a good use for these old bits that you dont need.

Takeaway menus
Some people have seemingly thousands of these stuffed into a kitchen drawer, even though they only use about 3 of them if not none at all, thanks to everything being available online nowadays. I would say bin the lot! So recycle these today and clear that dreaded drawer of doom in your kitchen.
